About Architecture Press

We live in an age of information overload — yet the big questions remain unanswered. How did human civilization get here? Who holds wealth and power, and why? What would a truly fair society look like?

Architecture Press exists to bring those questions to life — in language that's honest, clear, and accessible to anyone curious enough to ask. We publish works that explore the deepest forces shaping human civilization: wealth, freedom, fairness, and how we build a fair world together.

Serious ideas. Clear language. Books for anyone willing to ask hard questions.

About the Author

Kyoungjoo Cha — known to many as Kenny Cha — was born in South Korea and studied Philosophy at Seoul National University, where he focused on the philosophy of human history.

After immigrating to the United States, his path took him far from the classroom — into business, travel, and decades of firsthand experience across Asia, North America, South America, and Europe. That journey became its own kind of education.

His repeated visits to China in the 1980s and to North Korea in the late 1980s and early 1990s gave him a rare window into the internal workings of closed societies — and reinforced a conviction that would shape everything he wrote: that the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of the few is the central cause of civilizational failure.

Over a lifetime of independent inquiry, Cha identified Wealth and Freedom as the core engines of human history — and Fairness as the essential design principle for the civilization that must come next.

The Architecture of Fairness and United Pan Alta are the result of that lifelong inquiry.
